The challenge
Users who outgrow a daily planner need weeks, repeating commitments and a way to see where their time goes. The risk was turning a calm app into a complicated one, so every added feature had to stay out of the way until it was needed.
What we did
Pro keeps the same today screen as DayPlanner, then adds week and month views one swipe away, so existing habits carry over.
Recurring tasks use flexible rules, such as every second Tuesday or the last weekday of the month, and each occurrence can be changed without breaking the series.
Both apps are built from one shared Kotlin core, so improvements to planning logic reach both editions at once while each keeps its own package and store listing.
